Sony announces/ plans a PS4 price - cut to $300 at the same day as Halo 5, who would win NA/ UK that week? Who would win the month? A $300 PS4 vs. a $250 XOne Halo bundle? 

Yeah basically a worldwide price cut.

Well, one will have a major impact WW while one will mainly be big in NA.

True but I stuck with NA/UK because the PS4 dominates everywhere else and it wouldn't be much of a thread if it was a curb stomp from the start lol. 

I think it would be close either way. Both consoles may even hit 800k - 1 Million sales in NA for this designated month!!

Hmmmmm. I think if it's just NA/UK then Halo 5 bundle would win. Halo is just massive.

If Sony announced the price cut very shortly before they dropped, my guess is the XBO would still be $350, but with a copy of Halo 5, maybe even another game thrown in. Either way, the PS4 price cut is going to have more of an effect. There will also be plenty of 3rd party games coming out around then, plus whatever Sony has to announce at E3, to help with SW presence.

If Sony does do the full $100 cut, you can bet sales will explode, as well as cut into XBO's sales. Halo or no Halo.

I will go with the ps4 price cut being more effective and allowing it to dominate. It has yet to get a price cut.
