Very simple question AND LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR, I DO NOT WANT ANYONE COMING WITH ANY FUSION TALK OR CONSOLE TALK.

Well for Japan I think all it would need at launch is

Monster hunter 5,

Pokemon gen 7

Yokai watch (whichever number by the time)

and that would be enough to win over japan....

what do you think would create the greatest launch of a nintendo handheld?

I think we are overdue for a Paper Mario so I want one of that! And yea, MH5 for Japan and Pokemon as well

-A new IP with similar touch to Pokémon.
-2D Mario game.
-Monster Hunter game for the following months after the launch.

Those three games are enough, I think.

With the next handheld system we can have the real 3D pokemon that we want.

but, now following the rules:

Japan
Monster Hunter 5 or Monster Hunter Stories 2 (because we know that's gonna happen)
Yokai Watch 5 (because they will release 4 next year)
and Mario Kart


for the rest of the world:
Mario kart
Zelda

Realistic:

Super Mario 3D Land 2, Nintendogs + dinosaurs (or whatever), an N64/GCN remake, and Dragon Quest.

Non-realistic:

Mario Kart, Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Metroid, and everything above.

I feel like Pokemon, Monster Hunter, and Yokai would be overkill, and it would be better to space them out to keep the hype train rolling.

I feel a good launch would be Pokemon (preferably a new generation, but if not a Z version for X and Y), a remake of a classic title (Sunshine would work well), a quirky new IP along the lines of Codename S.T.E.A.M, and a new casual IP.

I doubt Zelda, Mario Kart, or anything super fancy will be a launch title

My guess is something like Yokai Watch, Tomodachi Life 2 and maybe Pokemon
