A reboot of the Bomberman series on the Wii U!!!
Not sure about you guys, but that would make me very happy.
EDIT: This is NOT based off of recent Nintendo news. This is just a speculation. Is it possible?

I would be one angry guy if this is what they are working on instead of something that is care worthy like metroid or f-zero

There's been many conspiracy theories in the last hours, but they at least had SOME reason. This however makes no sense at all.

They said F-Zero isn't coming on the Wii U basically, although they may be making one. And Metroid on Wii U I can see happening. But this is just in addition, not replacing.

This isn't about any conspiracy. This is just speculation on if they are. It isn't based off of any recent news.
