It's ok if the OP hasn't included Nintendo games. Most of those games are only good my Nintendo standards. You can't put Mario Galaxy up against Halo, Uncharted, God of War, or The Last Of Us and show them all to an unbiased gamer and think anyone would pick Galaxy out of the bunch.

Mario Galaxy 2 is one of the best games ever made, people will forget almost every game on that list, but Mario Galaxy 2 will still be remembered as the masterpiece it is, that´s what happens with timeless classics. And that´s not a biased thing, that is a fact.
