Xbox One will top 30 million in the US. So it will definitely pass it.

Stop pass a prediction as a fact.

30,000,000 for XBO is NOT fact. XBO is not gonna to outsell DEFINITELY N64.

You can predict that XBO will pass it, but as for now is NOT a fact.

That's a bit surprising to see. I can understand the launch at least, but now..? MS needs to step it up if they're losing to an old console like that N64, which itself was smeared by the PS1.

N64 actually did really well in America, during its prime years, it help it's own against PS1.

If we're talking N64 vs PS1 only in the US, it seems like N64 wasn't too far behind from info I found. And I forgot we're speaking strictly in the US...

I assumed you could deduce that yourself, do you have a brain?

It'll outsell 64 definitely. I say by the end of 2016. Seeing how things are going, PS4 is outselling it by 2x roughly. Even if super blockbusters won't get the XBone on par with PS4 in terms of sales, I don't see the console selling under 30 Million by the end of 2016.

Why DEFINITELTY ?

Just because "you don't see" that no mean that don't will happen. Who will see...

I Love Nintendo, heck I love each of the big 3 for what they're doing. I've owned every Nintendo console there is( except for the bad ones) and every Sony Console. Had a 360 at some point, have no need for One cuz of PS4. Why am I saying this? I understand that some consles have a better selling potential than others. I'm not gonna purposefully try and derail or be blind of another gaming console's potential. Xbone obviously has a growing install base. 11 Million in 2 years is pretty amazing and it probably won't be slowing down in the next 4 years it probably has left. I loved the 64, did 33 Million but Xbone just has the games that will propel it past 64. I don't necessarily even like Xbox that much but I will give it its props.

Both will have had an extraordinary amount of sales in US. Xbox didn't even bother to cut price Europe which screams surrender to me (other than UK where it got 3 price cuts in the first year). I would put my money on Xbox for now as they have Halo yet to come (a new one that is) and they will continue to price aggressively. Also while Sony gets bigger boosts from 3rd parties Xbox still gets lesser versions of them unlike N64 which didn't receive many. Not to mention the gaming market in the US is simply bigger at this point thanks in no small part to N64's competition the Playstation brand.

Xbox One will pass N64 with games like Halo,Gears,QB, third party support, Rare ips, and other unannounced exclusives coming from Microsoft.

Proud to be a Californian.

WELL THAT'S WHAT HAPPEN WHEN MICROSOFT HAVE RARE, AND OTHER NINTENDO DEVELOPERS WHEN FANS ARE NOT INTERESTED IN THOSE GAMES ON XBOX ONE...DURING THAT TIME WHEN PS2 was going to release that topple both sega and nintendo..ironically the results are similar what happen in 1996-00 so its all possible ps4 going sell more than 120 million consoles like their older brother PS2 did... and xbox one will have the same number of N64 sold its lifetime...

If you think the question is WHEN?

Actually we have N64 at 6,765,000 and XBO at 6,622,000.

The N64 had fantastic games, 3D graphics, analog controls, and 90's advertising behind it, no-one had seen anything like it at that point, the XB1 was hated and panned due to it's restrictions. This isn't a fair comparison.

There's too many threads on here comparing Nintendo's most popular consoles to machines that either got off to a rocky start, were weaker, or were just straight-up disappointments. Grabbing at straws to make Nintendo look better than they currently are.
