Last gen, I reckon it was light shining through a bloody spinning fan. I swear to god, every second damn game did it; Call of Duty, Dead Space, Splinter Cell... XD

Eh to be honest a lot of games ive played this gen have just looked so similar. Dying light, Farcry 4, Assasins creed, they all kind of look the same. I think we're hitting a point that graphics are getting good enough to try to aim for more realistic environments, unfortunately it's making a lot of these environments just look the same.
