Platform March (%) February (%) Change (%)
PS4 46.5 41.4 +5.1
WiiU 33.2 31.5 -1.7
PC 7.0 4.8 +2.2
3DS 6.6 9.8 -3.2
XB1 2.9 9.2 -6.3
PC 7.0 4.8 +2.2
Vita 2.9 1.9 +1.0
PS3 0.8 1.3 -0.5
X360 0 0.0 0.0

WiiU continues to fall, while PS4 continues to grow this month, which is unexpected since PS4 lost a big game where WiiU's biggest game XenoBlade, got more hype. XB1 crashed really hard this month, but it's likely because the small share of fans just didn't vote last time and not a loss of hype. 3DS also fell, which was expected with Zelda and Monster Hunter releasing in February.

For April, expect PS4's portion to fall with Bloodborne releasing. 3DS will also likely fall as well with Codename STEAM gone. WiiU probably won't overtake the lead, but if enough Zelda fans are angry about Zelda being #2 it might.

Publisher February (%) February (%) Change (%)
Nintendo 38.0 38.3 -0.3
Sony 18.0 19.5 -1.5
Square Enix 8.8 8.8 -
Atlus 8.6 3.8 +4.8
Konami 5.6 4.3 +1.3
Warner Bros 3.5 5.4 -1.9
Microsoft 3.1 6.5

-3.4

Nippon Ichi 2.3 1.6 +0.5

Atlus exploded last month after new footage/information was presented for Persona 5. Other then that, Microsoft fell by quite a bit, and the rest stayed about the same. Expect Microsoft to bounce back a bit for next month, and Sony might go down with Bloodborne leaving, which will help everyone else.

Genre February (%) February (%) Change (%)
JRPG 43.3 27.7 +15.6
Action-Adventure 24.4 32.4 -8.0
Shooter 9.2 15.0 -5.8
Strategy 6.1 4.5 +1.8
WRPG 4.5 6.8 -2.3
Horror 3.6 2.6 +1.0
Platformer 3.2 5.2 -2.0

So this month is interesting because JRPG's gained a huge amount at the cost of Action-Adventure and Shooters. This is partly because of more votes for games like Persona 5 and Fire Emblem if, but it's also because a lot of Zelda fans didn't vote last month, but XenoBlade still held strong. Strategy also went up with Codename STEAM releasing in March.

For next month, anything can happen. Strategy will likely drop hard, and WRPG's might grow with Witcher 3's release date approaching, but lets see.

I figured I would make the total table last after VGC's forum no longer supports a clean format for this.

I found it kind of funny that Kingdom Hearts III was the most popular XB1 game. Square-Enix really has some nice stuff announced.

Looks like PS4 is growing and really surprising to see KHIII as XBO's most anticipated on this list.

Dat Xenoblade X domination. I voted for Persona 5 ps3 and you didn't include it...

XCX beats Zelda (and everything else) by a comfortable margin, wow.

Also, I'm a little shocked to see Persona 5 above Uncharted 4...

Nice work Michael-5!

Just vocal minorities in the grand scheme of things.

Excellent work Michael-5. The new format looks good and the info is easy to find/interpret. The tables on the first post are a bit small... have you tried shrinking some of the columns? The "Points", "Votes" and "Release date" could be smaller, allowing the whole table to be bigger and easier to read.
(just my 2 cents.)

Also, it's been said a few times already, but the lack of X1 owners who want to take part of this feature is sad, only 9 votes this time. And then they moan that the site in pro-Sony or pro-Nintendo, which I'm not saying that it's not true. But it's their own fault for not getting more involved with the site and things like Most Wanted show this.

Btw, I'm a little disappointed because no title reached the 100 points mark, although Xeno got really close. We can do better!

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

Vocal minorities ruled this past month especially. Hence KHIII topped XBO titles despite getting just one vote.
