Pretty pointless effort by nVidia. While I think $300 tablet is decent offering, Android consoles at $200 price are waste of money, even with a streaming service. Once they can offer sub $100 box with sub 100ms streaming they might have a chance.

The problem is the eco-system.

Its mainly going to be mobile apps and games right? maybe just run at slightly higher resolutions than most mobile phones.... but still.... mobile phone games.

No offense to mobile phone games, but they typically arnt of the same quality as real consol games.

Id rather have a real consol, which for me would be a xbox or a ps4.

Shield Portable is pretty awesome, so ill recommend shield products if youre looking into it. I can stream Steam games to the portable inside and otuside of my house. I wont get the console though as i already have a PC but that is pretty nice

Hmmm, It seems too expensive for a streaming box but too weak/with not enough native content to compete in the console space.

They should have either just done a full on streaming box for $99 with mobile specs or a full on Steam console with specs far higher then PS4 and a hefty pricetag $499.
