and yet nintendos value has been decreasing while microsofts has been increasing (although not due to xbox). It's kinda hard to slag them off in terms of money when they have more than they know what to do with it.

I dunno, last gen they had Windows 8. This gen they have Windows 10. It's already looking better for them

Not so sure myself, sales sure, market share who knows. We have 360 at 31,2%, with WiiU barely selling, XBO can pass 360.

While that is certainly possible my original statement was meant for Microsoft as a whole.

To be fair it's pretty easy to beat Nintendo.

They make some great games, but as a company they make baffling decision after baffling decision, to the point where you simply have to be only half-way competent to beat them.

If Nintendo and MS (XBox division) were boxers, Nintendo would be the more naturally gifted/athletic boxer, but they are lazy and don't take their training seriously, whereas MS doesn't have the raw talent, but they are in better shape. Nintendo can catch you and knock you out with a big upper cut once in a hwile (like Wii), but after a while if you can weather that storm, they'll get gassed and then you can take them out.

Nintendo is like the more talented athlete but they show up to play drunk ... well that evens the odds or gives you a big advantage fairly easily.


In fairness the ps3 still lags behind the Wii and is only due to pass it this year.  After 9 years.  Pretty good showing.

Not really surprising. I`m surprise it didn`t happen sooner. The Xbox 1 is getting more support than Wii U. At this point, it`s only being largely supported by Ninten, so that was expected to happen.

Xbox consoles have good attach rates. And the Wii U doesn't have that many games so I'm surprised this didn't happen sooner.
