people that whine a lot even while smooching off of other people's work. They help a lot in the indie scene where the indie devs do need ads but when it comes to AAA where companies have tons of money to market it, I think they whine too much for what they think they are giving back.

With that being said, I am talking about the worst of them out there and there are plenty of lets players that I do care about and respect highly and hope that they never stop doing what they are doing like Ssohpkc

Majority I have seen come off as desperate trying to make comedy from situations rather than letting it breath. Noise and shouting and lame shock humor do nothing for me and add nothing to gaming.

My favorite Let's Play is RePlay on Game Informer because they discuss old games, play obscure ones and have great interactions with 2-5 people in the room. I genuinely had tears in my eyes at one point of the "Cyberia" super replay because it was the game that was so funny in unexpected and unintentional ways.

Fairly obnoxious and don't deserve the money they get paid (specifically the higher-up ones), but it's what the market wants, and no matter how low-brow I think that market is, I don't want to squander people's success or enjoyment of it simply because I don't like it.

If this is based off the Nintendo controversy, I think that Youtubers are spoiled and whiny about the situation, but Nintendo is underestimating their potential influence and really shouldn't get on their bad side.

Sometimes useful. I was having a difficult time with TW101 until I watched a Let's play where someone explained *what* they were doing and *why*.

Opportunists that use copyrighted material to promote their over the top behaviour with the false pretense of being funny or edgy. Along with free to play it is the greatest threat the industry faces. It creates opportunity for directly stupid content such as i am bread or goat simulator to exist and flourish whereas games that would have sold well without 'promotion' from lets players loses revenue from the casual user who can just watch someone else play this game. It is like the videogame crash all over again except this time people swallow it up as being entertaining. We are being taught everywhere not to pay for games and if so only a miniscule amount. That bussiness platform is simply not viable if we want quality software to continue to be released.
