As for the actual topic at hand, I kinda read most people's posts in my own voice. Which is probably completely off-base for most people. A few people I read in their voice; either because I know what they sound like or because I've spoken to them enough to get a good feel for it.

I watch anime. And I don't really want to hear engrish so it's usually the English dub or the Abridged dub. Who's your avatar, by the way?Nut when the sentence I'm reading I know how to translate to english, then I will hear the Japanese dub.

The character in my avatar is Feitan, from Hunter x Hunter, specifically the 2011 run. That version doesn't have an English dub.

Starting from there up until 10:10 is a pretty good representation of his character.  So I wouldn't really call the character emo.
