Heya, I`m Cloudman. I`m a new guy who`s recently joined and wanted to jump into the discussions that happen here, and I thought I`d give a thread a try. So I got this idea for one. 

What`s your favorite game from the different franchises you like?

I`m sure everyone here are a fan of many different franchises. I for one like a lot of different ones, from Mario to Zelda to Bomberman to the Tales series! Sometimes I would have myself thinking which ones do I like the most from each series. I have weird debates with myself, haha. So yeah, I`ll just give a few of mine.

How about something easy, like Zelda? I think it`s sided that Ocarina of Time is the best in the Zelda franchise, with Link to the Past close behind, among fans. Me, however, like Majora`s Mask the most. It`s so different from other Zelda games, from the villian, the new world, the conflict, the masks and the game is just so dark without trying so hard to be dark (looking at Twilight Princess).  And the 3 Day time system! It added a whole new unique challenge to this game! I absolutely love it.

How about Mario? That one is all over the place, from Mario Bros 3, Mario 64, and Mario Galaxy. I fall with the M64/ Mario Sunshine group. I find it really hard to decide which one I like more. My heart falls in the middle.

Let`s try more obscure! I love Fatal Frame and it`s one of my most favorite series ever! I`ve heard people say 2 is the best, but I actually like that one the least! The village and amount of space there was kind of took the fear away. The first Fatal Frame is my favorite, with an excellent unsettling area and scary enemies without going a little overboard in 3. Also, I really like the protagonist in 1

Silent Hill series - Silent Hill 2

Final Fantasy series - Final Fantasy 6

Metroid - Metroid Prime, 'cause it's PERFECTION.

Super Mario - Super Mario Galaxy, 'cause of that gameplay, music, etc.

Zelda - Majora's Mask, 'cause it's so unique.

Bioshock - Bioshock, 'cause the atmosphere and gameplay (FPS like no other)

Sonic - Sonic Adventure, without a doubt has the best 3D Sonic level design, imo.

F-Zero - F-Zero GX, high-speed races, accompanied by awesome music and tracks!

...there's probably a lot more i'm missing, but that's okay.

Alriight, another Majora`s Mask fan : ) That opening in Mario Galaxy when Mario lands on the egg planet. It gave me goosebumbs the first time I saw it. It was just amazing! And cool that you like Sonic Adventure. I loved that game too and convinced me to buy a dreamcast. It was so GOOD.

You have interesting favorites for franchises! I remember MM7 being one of the less favorable games in Mega Man. I really enjoyed it though. I`m one of the lame guys that like 2/3. Yoshi`s Island too is interesting, but I welcomed the change and challenge in that one. And that MUSIC. Phoenix Wright is hard to pick because in order to enjoy the most of the Phoenix Wright arc, you gotta play all 3 to get the whole picture. All 3 games build to one awesome conclusion! : )

Resident Evil 6 (Co-op story mode, better gameplay)
