Ace Attorney series - Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies
Paper Mario series - Paper Mario 2
3D Mario series - Super Mario 64 / Super Mario Galaxy 1
Persona series - Persona 4 Golden
Pokemon series - Pokemon SoulSilver
Star Fox series - Star Fox 64
I could also include Sonic 3 & Knuckles and the Sonic franchise, but it has spawned too many horrible games imo.
