Yea the foliage is really ugly looking. It is worrying that they choose to show it off.

All joking aside, I have to agree that fighting on the highway is a bit... erhm... bland feeling. I'm not saying that they won't impress with fantasy environments (because trust me, there WILL be impressive environments SOMEWHERE in the game), but these particular photos fail to impress.

Yeah sorry, these were the only screenshots they showed, I thought it was something we did not see in the trailer.

I mean they're new screenshots. But the environment is the same, same desertous land with a very long road and a huge structure in the distance.

To be fair this game has only shown two in-game environments. Also, I don't get why fighting on a highway is an issue. Those soldiers mounted a checkpoint. Of course you'll have to fight them.... On the highway. And its not like we haven't seen battles in other environments. And so far the world reminds me of FFVIII, and that game had lots of great locations. Gen 8 seems to be the gen of nitpicking.
