I believe the last version of IE I used was 6 or 7 back in the day? I honestly don't remember too much except playing a lot of Runescape.

So true with regards to Chrome eating up RAM. Just about every day i need to research stuff and i end up with over 20 tabs daily. On my work PC, which has 4gb of RAM, Chrome can barely run at that point. I noticed Firefox handles it somewhat better. When it comes to dev features though I would say Chrome gets the nod ahead of Firefox. I'm glad they are dropping Internet Explorer...hopefully they build a light weight browser from the ground up. |
Chrome may not be the best but it's great with a good pc or pc/mobiles in general. Internet Explorer threatens to blow up my pc any occasion it's ever been used. I've had to talk to everyone in my house to make sure they don't use it.
Too funny:D
IE sucks ballz. Firefox is the way. Ant Video extention, adblock=perfect internet.
Good riddance! It has been such a terrible browser for years now. Chrome and Firefox aren't perfect but they were always much better than IE.

It has always been very understanding that way. Kind of like the ugly girl you make friends with in order to get a date with her hot friend.

I consider ad-block exceptions for websites I use regularly but Vgchartz (for example) has ads that are so ridiculously intrusive and resource intensive that I simply don't consider it an option.
Will need more than a name change to fix IE, this is basically a glorified rebranding without saying as such to minimize fallout from the detractors.
