Touché to the people at Monolith Soft; that is one awesome trailer!

The exploration aspect of this game looks incredible. I’m hoping that we can actually traverse to all visible landscape in realtime. Would like to get near that sandworm and see what happens!

Some of you can already tell that there are different approaches in both our direction, especially when you compare this and FFXV trailers, but admittedly that’s some intense competition right there! And we all love healthy competition don’t we? Coz in the end, the fans win!

There’s no clause in my contract that states that I can’t love a game made by another company, so I’m gonna be all out and say that I just can’t freaking wait to play this game! I loved the world in Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii, and I’ll be getting a Wii U just for this game.

Yes, I love my JRPGs :P

The part that gets me in this quote...not that it isn't a great quote...is that the dude doesn't have a WiiU yet. Really? It's not like you're like the peasants like us down here who can only afford one or maybe two consoles per generation. The guy's got money...and to ignore an entire catalogue of great games seems silly. Even if he just has it to see what Nintendo is doing or what other developers are doing. Do the console wars really go on up there in the upper echelon of game design, too?

Its great to see when developers love other developer's work instead of what usually happens in forums. I can't wait for both!

But I do think that his website is pretty terribly designed... I like scrolling up and down, not side to side

If Sakaguchi was still working on FFXV this friendly rivalry would have surfaced long ago. Takahashi and Sakaguchi go way back.

It's nice when you can tell a develper is also a gamer. Kudo's to him. 

I suppose he watches the trailer 10 times a day like me.

Personally, I am waiting for a Mistwalker-Monolith Soft team up project.  They mentioned it in passing some time ago as a possibility, but I want to see it!  Especially if it can give us a spiritual successor to the Chrono series :O
