It's always a sale for BF weekend at least. This is hardly a prediction at all. A likely scenario is what it is.

Nah, not at all. Leading up to the holidays though it was clear that they would have to bring big cuts to compete.

I dont think they will have to do that in 2015 with Halo 5.

$329 with two games right ?  $199 for X1 alone...and there were even more insane MS Bundle. MS already gave away X1 and games almost for free in 2014, so I'm expecting MS paying you if you get a X1 in 2015.

It would be lower than WiiU was two years in it's life time if so. Hard to tell, but it would sure as hell cause some crazy US holiday sales.

I agree, the XB1 will probably get that low.  I would think that the PS4 will only $30-50 more...

Agreed. Though I actually believe they will be dropping it to $299 as early as E3 this year, but only if the PS4 wins every NPD between now and then. They will do this in anticipation of a possible PS4 price drop to $299 around October.

Them hitting that $299 price point early allows them further drop the price as another "promotion" around the end of the year without it seeming reactionary.

If the Xbox division lowers prices that fast that soon, I fear for the future of Xboxm. It will lock them into a death-spiral of losses and while MS CAN absorb it, the bosses and more importantly shareholders probably won't like it one bit. Xbox has been in danger of being closed up or sold off for a while and another gen of nothing but losses could seal the deal on that.

$250 in value ? yes, I mean a 299 console with 1 or 2 games on it but doubt it they will price it at 250.
