I don't see Sanders even registering as more than a blip in the primaries.  O'Malley is definitely going to try, but he is also definitely going to fail.  There really isn't anybody on the democrat side that I can see coming even close to Clinton.  Howard Dean might end up being her biggest competition... which is pretty sad...

I disagree. There are a lot of Democrats who are getting sick and tired of third way shenanigans (which took over the Left under Clinton) and want to go back to actual leftist policies. Someone is going to take on that mantle and be the person who challenges Hillary from the left.

Yeah, I don't think Sanders is the guy for it, nor do I think there is that large of a block of democrats that feel that way.  Sanders doesn't even identify as a democrat, he identifies himself as a socialist.  A showing similar to that of Ron Paul on the republican side is about the most I would expect from Sanders, and I think that is being very generous.  However, I guess we will see, it is still early yet and Clinton has plenty of time to destroy her own canidacy again...

Would love to see Elizabeth Warren run for president but there is a slim to no chance of it happening. Plus she probably would have close to no chance of winning if she would run.

I don't know, I think if she did run she would have a very good chance.  Clinton isn't the best campaigner, her best feature is her last name.  Warren could run an underdog campaign and steal the election from her just like obama did.

However, like you said, it is very unlikely that she runs...

As long as it wont be hillary clinton i am fine with any person. Obama did good a job to put a nice face to the continiation of bush policies for the pentagon/CIA. A women would be another setback for the rest of the world and for europe to get people false promosis again.

The cia knows their job

Someone is primed to do it. I think 2008 went down the way it did mostly because the media legitimately fell in love with Obama, but also because the media  hates inevitability and loves a horse race. Even if it's looking like a blow out they'll instincitvely try to make it more competitive than it actually is and that would give someone like Warren more of a chance, since a lot of people who wouldn't otherwise "waste their vote" on her (stupid line of thinking, IMO) might then give her a second glance.

I agree with pretty much everything you said... it is just that all the democrats that are looking to run right now... I don't think any of them are really viable media alternatives...  I don't think any of them really have the ability to shmooze the media... Warren could, but she keeps saying she isn't going to run...

Are there any Asian, Hispanic or African American candidates?
White presidents are just not mainstream anymore...

Well, Marco Rubio (cuban) could run on the Republican side, he probably has the best chance of any minority candidate.  There is also Ben Carson and Ted Cruz on the republican side... but their chances are pretty much non existent...

Yeah, but that can always change tomorrow. If she has an aversion to looking like a liar she can make a pretty convincing claim that she was "drafted" by the left wing of the party.

I'd love to see Paul vs. Warren. The bankers' reaction would be priceless.

My comment was just a joke post, but thanks for replying.
I agree with you though, I think Clinton is the only competent candidate.A woman president would be nice, but feminist will go crazy , since they would think they have the power now.
