I disagree. There are a lot of Democrats who are getting sick and tired of third way shenanigans (which took over the Left under Clinton) and want to go back to actual leftist policies. Someone is going to take on that mantle and be the person who challenges Hillary from the left.

Yeah, I don't think Sanders is the guy for it, nor do I think there is that large of a block of democrats that feel that way.  Sanders doesn't even identify as a democrat, he identifies himself as a socialist.  A showing similar to that of Ron Paul on the republican side is about the most I would expect from Sanders, and I think that is being very generous.  However, I guess we will see, it is still early yet and Clinton has plenty of time to destroy her own canidacy again...
