This is the iQue-Player, the Chinese equivalent of the N64. I feel like this should have been the design of the N64 controller. How about you?

N64 controller is the best controller in the universe.

The layout is better. The N64 controller was awful.

But the iQue's build quality is probably ass.

Did Microsoft help design that d-pad? I still do not understand how in the hell you could fuck up a d-pad. Nintendo and Sega had already got it right in the past. All you need is a big plus shape that can move in 8 different directions. If somebody gets something right, copy that and don't mess with it.

Anyway, that controller is fucking ugly. What's up with all those lines? Why are they necessary? The start button is in an awkward place. It also looks cheap. It does have some redeeming factors. It was probably a hell of a lot more comfortable to hold than the N64 controller. Other than the start button, most of everything else seems to be in the right place. I think if Nintendo would have least gone with this shape, the N64 controller might have been much better.

The N64 is absolutely terrible. Revolutionary? Sure, but fucking awful. Worst controller out there. That is definitely an improvement.

Build quality? the n64 controller build quality was ass to begin with, this couldn't be much worse.

I think the N64 controller was great. It could be hold in 3 different positions in case you didn't read the manual. So you didn't need 3 hands to play it, you just needed to see what was the button layout for the game you where going to play.

The N64 controller is the best controller for the N64. I'll never understand why people hate it so much.

No the Hori mini pad was the best, although its a tad on the small size.

D-Pad is in a terrible position but lets be honest, how often did you use a D-Pad on N64 games??
