I thought Nintendo was done for after this generation?

Man, I need to stop believing some people so whole-heartedly.

You're still young, Pie. You'll learn to distrust every one you meet in time =)

Pie is a 42-year-old homeless man in Florida, he is older than you.

Oh Fu*k! That's right! We actually found out his real identity like one or two years ago!!

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Okay, be boring then. (lol)

NinPie just told me to stay on topic =( And I gotta admit, he kinda scares me; he MIGHT actually be a real 42 year old creepy homeless guy...!

Its not surprising that an AMD APU/SoC will make it in Nintendo's next console. They've had earlier partnerships together before. And then you have Miyamoto confirming that they are working on a next generation systems.. Its quite easy to put two and two together.

Makes sense really! The question now is whether it will be for their handheld or their console or both! And what will the respective specs be? Soo many questions yet so little answers T_T

I do hope that this means they will be a lot more third party friendly then they ever were before but only time will tell

And obviously, this is for their next gen console/handheld which will be released 2017+ and not like in 2015

Stop doing this to yourself.

Umm... I'm pretty sure it's normal to have a new console in some sort of development at this point of life of the current console. This means absolutely nothing, besides Nintendo not dropping out of the console business - which isn't really news.
