Around the Network

Is terrible, never did motivated me once.
the main villain tells you that if you keep going forward the world will end and his plan will be fulfilled, then the protagonist keep going forward until they do exactly what he tells them
Its pretty good despite what most say. You gotta remember the Internet is the vocal minority. They dont represent what all gamers think.

It is the creamy diarria on top of a giant turd. That is what every person that I know that has played the previous ones and XIII thinks, just like most of the internet. It sold on name alone and damaged the brand and now Square is trying to redeem itself with XV.

It's very poorly told. They throw concepts at you without properly explaining them first. Your characters become L'Cie (don't quite remember how) and that's bad. They have to complete their focus so they don't become Cie'th but they don't know what their focus is. There's Fal'Cie somewhere in there too but I forgot what they are exactly, some kind of fake Gods created for some reason, in the end you fight a guy who looks like the pope.

The gameplay is actually good compared to the story. I didn't like not having full control of my party but once the battle system is fully unlocked the fights are entertaining with the paradigm shifts.
