Forums - Nintendo Discussion - So wait, why the heck is there no SSBU bundle?

If we were gonna get a BF bundle surely we would hear about it soon .. BF IS less than 6 days away now, 5 really when you consider it starts thursday.

Ya I figured they would have one as well, I'm sure they will release one eventually.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

They will make more money this way

There will probably be one announced early next year. Why that long after launch? Who knows.

"I think it will be the HDS"-Me in regards to Nintendo's next handheld.

Yeah i was think about that.Smash is selling pretty well but the console is not even in the top 100 on amazon(i think?)

My theory is that nintendo lost the hope on the hardware and will focus on selling as much software as they can to be profitable.(like gamecube was)

Last year, was there a bundle for X and Y? I know there was one that was announced after black friday. But I'm not sure if there was one regularly.

Same reason they will ride the $300 price tag probably all the way to the end of the fiscal year: to get the shareholders off their backs. The shareholders want a nice, meaty profit and that's what Nintendo's aiming to give them. A bundle *might* drop in December, but they want to at least make good money on the launch and black friday first. I think their deals and pricing will become more agressive once the fiscal year ends.
