This is probably a better way to keep track as it's for the month of November rather than hourly - http://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/2014-11/videogames

Currently there are 5 XB1 bundles in the top 40 compared to 1 PS4 bundle - will be interesting to see how it goes

I agree.

Also, the SO XB1 bundle is going in and out of stock.  So, if enough stock shows up, it can move even further up the chart or at least stay where it is.  Same thing for some of the other bundles.

I would guess it is still 2 to 1.

Suprised about the SO bundle not being made readily available through the holidays, seems to be popular

I am enjoying the switcheroo here. Two days ago there were endless threads proclaiming Xbox domination based on hourly sales for three days and PS4 crowd were saying it was premature and hourly sales do not mean much. Now, it is the other way around.

Good stuff. :D

?????  Don't make sweeping generalizations.  It's normally different people value the hourly charts differently.  I never put much stock in them so shortly after a price drop because I would HOPE you sell for at least a week or so after the price drop so I got tired of reading about it every hour.  I put more stock in the monthly or yearly charts.  Even those must be taken with a grain of salt however as it is just one (very large) retailer.  Most of the "PS4 crowd" as you call them followed this mentality.  Are there exceptions?  Sure but let's not generalize like that just trying to paint one in a negative light or another.

Kitler is just over exaggerating the slight fall in the position the XB1 has taken, like the over-exaggeration that went on when the price cuts ensued :p

For those not paying attention this week,.. the ONE went on sale for the holiday period starting on November 1st.   You can now get an xbox one for $349.99 with a bundeled game.  Comparing apples to apples that puts xbox one at $290 relative to ps4's $399.99 (assuming you want the bundeled AC @ $59.99).

Over the last 3 days the ONE has been kiling ps4 selling by OVER 3:1.   Sadly, that era has passed and a recent check shows the ONE only selling 1:1 with ps4 (as of this writting xbox has the top selling sku at #10  and falling while ps4 has the second spot at #15).  The price drop failed.  At $109.99 below ps4 the ONE was only able to secure the top spot in their home turf and strongest region for 3 days.

What else can MS do?

Release a better Console next time, like they did with 360.

From everything im seeing Xbox One to this moment should be outselling PS4 on Amazon(notice i say amazon, and not everywhere). Ive said before in XBE which you can even find my quote that I want to see if other retailers reflect this.

And when I see people saying this thread is premature, im not saying it because we dont know, but because the OP is intending to make an over-exaggeration to rile people up which may or may not come back to bite you.

By looking at the numbers on Amazon it would look like this

#10 - XBO AC
#15 - PS4
#16 - XBO CoD
#21 - XBO Sku
#41 - PS4 Destiny
#43 - XBO AC Kinect
#63 - XBO SO (Sold Out)

So with that information, it appears it is still outselling PS4 to this moment. So the thread doesnt take into account that XBO sku rose while AC has pretty much maintained its position, while all other models are doing substantially well. INstead focusing on the drop of a sold out console and Call of Duty Bundle dropping below #10.

THough again, i will wait to see how other retailers reflect this (though reports of this is looking to be the case) but your intents of this thread is obvious.  I mean if youre saying XBO has failed yet its selling more than the PS4, where does that leave the PS4?  It just makes no sense to say that.  THough you have done an excellent job at what youre trying to do

Now to say XBO is going to outsell PS4 this holiday is an entirely different subject as this thread seems to be referencing Seece's thread which was based on the current date, not the entirety of all the holiday.

In comparison to the 360 the power difference between the X1 and the PS4 is smaller when you consider how much potential power the PS3's Cell had over the tri core X360 processor. Not to mention there have been no hardware failures of the X1 again massively unlike the X360 launch systems failure rate. Rose tinted goggles on last gen start much?

so funny, it pops to the top as a massive discount is announced and bundles that are just about to release, and people go haywire way to early about what it means. now when things start edging back to normal, its "too early" to make anything out of it.

Its not to early it is just plain wrong. The whole idea of the original post was because the top X1 SKU and the top PS4 SKU were 10 and 15 so that shows that the X1 price reduction was a short term boost.  The original post ignored all the other SKUs including the #16 which basically is selling nearly identical to the PS4 all by itself so everyone that the #10 SKU sells is above and beyond the PS4 numbers.

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

Agreed with OP.

It's pretty obvious that the bundles boosted the XBO sales and that good for MS, but they already declining after 3 days while Sony did the total amount of zero moves is not a good indicator to their monthly sales, to me the PS4 will still be ahead this month as it was the whole year.

But that's only me...

Actually the boosts have been going on since about the 28th, not just three days.  And will it maintain above PS4 throughout the holiday?  That is a big question mark to whether or not that will happen.  As of this moment it is still indeed outpacing PS4 on amazon though, and by the looks of it, by a pretty decent sized margin, possibly 2:1 if not more.

And to me its really going to depend on how well they both do on black friday because that is where the majority is going to sell.  Id imagine that November 1-10 will be Xbox ONe with a pretty big deciding factor.  10-20th will likely be a little more even, and 20-30th will be the question mark.
