Mindshare.

If Spencer and the X1 can take this holiday to build up mindshare, correct the ill-image they have, and advertise their advantages over Sony such as actually good exclusives and a network that actually works reliably, then they can carry that momentum over into 2015.

If not we can continue to Await Greatness...

Lots of ifs dependent on high hopes of best case scenerios.

X1 is dead in the water early 2015, do they have a single game to go up aginast Bloodborne and The Order in Feb? nope guess what little momentum they can achive will be driven into a wall given their game drought in 2015.

Shhh. Consoles sales or games won't matter then. They only matter when ms has a chance to win.

I agree that it should win November, but the same thing was said in March and look what happen.

True, but PS4 had a fairly big exclusive in March to hold the Xbox off, and more importantally, the Xbox One was still $100 more.

Now that Xbox has the price advantage, and more big exclusives than PS4, it will win hands down.

lol i know ther constant flip flops and hypocrisies are funny.

I wonder how much money MS will lose per console sold with the pricecut?

Home come it deserve a win? Care to explain. And PS4 will win November 2014 NPD by a huge marfin.

Oh, in the USA only? Yeah, I can see that happening. Not sure about WW though.

You actually have to wonder who will win ww? Really

Well, you never know. Stranger things have happen.

I guess it won't happen.

PS4 sales in November will be jaw dropping.

Now I don't understand why it deserves to win but that is another talk.

Not Really.

Xbox will probabally put out a $350 Bundle for Evolve and Witcher 3.

Meanwhile sony will likely have a $400 Bundle for Bloodborne and The Order 1886.

I obviously don't expect Xbox to win NPD, but i wouldn't go as far as to say 'dead in the water'.

BTW, XB1 will have some cool exclusives early next year like Below, Screamride, and Inside.  I obviously wouldn't expect them to be system sellers, but at least you can't say they don't have anything comming out.

So you'd trust GiantBomb's review of Driveclub? I've PLAYED Driveclub and I know how awesome the game is. The only other problems mentioned in reviews are less SP content and tough AI, neither of which matter as the tough AI is actually a positive and the game is highly multiplayer oriented.

As for The Order: 1886 I never said anything about the developer's promises, I just gave you the Metacritic scores of their previous games. If it matters for Driveclub, it matters for them too.

Though I know you won't change your mind. I know you have a history of bashing almost everything on PlayStation. I can't change your mind, neither can a hundred PS4 exclusives do that for you.

I'd trust myself as well as I've played both (by virtue of having friends, we have regular gaming sessions for new releases amongst the three consoles owned within the collective). Driveclub looks great, amazing even, but it plays badly behind really questionable AI and handling. Even if I were to disregard that a major selling of the game doesn't work, the game just doesn't play as well as its competition or predecessors on the playstation brand.

The Orders developers have never worked on an actual AAA game, or even a console game outside of a collections series. There is a reason I don't compare there previous output to their current output. Same reason I don't compare a surgeon and an electrician on their abilities to build houses.

Yes really.

See x1 sale in 2014, they drop hard after the holidays.   Dekupling Kinect and free games had to be used to avoid getting constantly doubled in sales by PS4s dominance based on nothing at all.  No big games no big promotions not cuts nothing.

As i said early in the year.
