Im just curious, why do people keep doubt and saying the PS4 cant do this or cant do that? Have they not been paying attention the last 11 months? PS4 dosent care what you think, its gonna sell and its gonna sell alot. People keep saying "I dont see a reason for it to sell x amount this period". My question to you all, what was the reason its broke all the records it currently has? I think its time we all juct accept this system will sell well no matter what and has the potential to outsell any current sales records. End rant

PS4 hasn't had limited supply for over half a year and that sales pattern you mentioned has never happened, not even close. Everything else you said is a little bit optimistic too.

To be fair... not.

It will be 2008 and maybe a 2009 better than 2015 and maybe 2016 PS4... after that PS4 will have better legs... Wii died after 2009 putting close to 10 million sales and got even worst in the others years.

The reason the wii did so well was it because it had a lot more exclusives than ps3, that's why the wii is still selling in the thousands weekly still. The wii is the exact opposite of a fad. With little to no PS4 exclusives announced for 2015, PS4 may even go down to 2014 360 sale levels. Sorry, facts are facts.

Most overrated system ever I'm sorry, it's just true, the first year lineup is mediocre compared to other successful consoles. X1 has a better library right now so does the Wii U. Even Sony themselves admit they don't know why it's selling so well. 

I'm sure in time the games like Uncharted and God of War will come and it will live up to its billing, but right now this is mostly on the back of hype and MS making some early mistakes that they've rectified but people are still giving them crap for.

Even the Wii which had a lot of garbage shovelware its first year still brought Zelda: TP, Fire Emblem, Metroid Prime 3, and Super Mario Galaxy to the table within 12 months (and Wii Sports, if that's your thing).

As above even Sony has said they don't know why the system is selling so well. Probably because they know they really haven't released any huge games for it yet. 

Even the PS2 had things like Madden NFL exclusive, Ridge Racer V, Tekken Tag, Metal Gear Solid 2, Grand Theft Auto 3, Devil May Cry, TimeSplitters, in its first year. Waaaaay better than the PS4. 

I'm sure things like Fez and other indie games are cool, but I didn't buy a next-gen console to play high brow indie games that are trying to look like retro Super NES games on steroids. 

Dont be fooled by pr talk, they want to seem humble.  Yosh is awesome at it.  They know exactly why, as we all do.
