So, thought this would be an interesting discussion, which one do you think will sell the best? (We won't need leaks, the NPD top 10 will tell us ranks).

Halo MCC

Pros:

  • It's Halo. It's America.
  • Higher install base than WiiU
  • Releases before LBP and Smash (7 and 10 days)
  • Halo5 Beta, Nightfall, great value for money
  • Great hype

Cons:

  • Lower install base than PS4
  • Remaster, not a new game
  • Lots of Competition (COD, Ass Creed)

Smash for WiiU

Pros:

  • Huge mainline franchise
  • Advertised alongside Amiibo
  • Not as much software to compete with
  • Great hype

Cons:

  • Smaller install base than both XB1 and PS4
  • 3DS version is already out
  • Releases after both LBP and Halo MCC (3 & 10 days)

LittleBigPlanet 3

Pros:

  • Releases across 2 platforms
  • Only Sony exclusive this holiday
  • Higher install base than both XB1 and WiiU
  • Releases before Smash (3 Days)

Cons:

  • Last gen software not doing well despite install base (PS3 version)
  • lots of competition (COD, Ass Creed)
  • Releases after Halo MCC (7 days)
  • Not a lot of hype

I think Halo with its extra days will win. However, I fully expect Smash Bros. to sell more than the other two LTD.

I think SSB for wiiU will take it considering all the exclusive features the wiiU version has

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Wow, that's a long way away.

Guessing Halo will be on top. I have no clue how LBP will do. The PS4 is the best-selling console this gen and that's its big Holiday exclusive, but LBP has never sold in the same league as Halo or Smash in the states so I don't know.

I voted Halo > Smash > LBP

1. Halo MCC (mostly because of the 10 day advantage over Smash. Also, America.)
2. Smash Bros WiiU
3. LBP3 (I think it will be solidly in third here, even combined sku)

I voted Halo > Smash > LBP

The advantage here is that PS4 could have as much as a 1.5m+ userbase advantage over XB1 as well as the only holiday exclusive (so surely Sony will advertise a lot?)

Halo - Smash and BP3.
But I love LBP!

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

That's true, plus LPB is on PS3 as well. And Halo isn't a new entry. I do think it will sell better than Combat Evolved Anniversary, though, putting it ahead of LBP2. If MCC sells anywhere close to the 'new' entries in the series, LBP has no hope of taking this one, especially with Halo having a full week's head start.

I just preordered Halo and its preloading now.

I don't think that's much of an issue when highest selling version of multiplats ends being the PS4 version ...
