Very poorly? That's not true, its selling fine. If it was selling very poorly then it would be where the Wii U was. You act as if its had weeks under 30k like the Wii U had plenty of times.

GameCube numbers is not fine. Wii U just happens to sell even worse.

Can't disagree with the OP. First half of next will will be shocking and leave the X1 with a massive mountain to climb. I really don't get how MS have nothing lined up for the 1st half of 2015.

Gamecube's biggest games/exclusives were mostly released in 2001-2002 to help it sell. Xbox One does not even have its biggest IPs out yet on the console. Its selling fine. Do you honestly believe Xbox One will end up at Gamecube's numbers?

I'm not saying it's gonna end up selling 22m like the GameCube. I'm saying that, as of now, it's selling pretty badly. Which it is.

It sold poorly in 2014 there is no spin for it. Sales hovering between 30-50k is barely health and in no way good.

Ok in NA
Poor to bad World wide.

How about we wait for the holidays? Xbox one will have huge advertisement, huge 3rd party games like COD, great exclusive games like MCC and a lot of bundles. Microsoft's game plan always involved pushing consoles during the holidays.

Yeah they're quite disappointing. Microsoft had this gen in the palm of their hands before it started...it's gotta be one of the biggest PR fuck-ups of all time

Sony saying PS3 should require people to get a second job to afford was pretty bad.

It was true though, lol.

Though in the end it was just a comment. Mattrick said that people without internet should buy 360 as well. The events prior to the One launch was much more impactful than those.

The thing is, what do you actually class as "selling well". Whatever it sells over the holiday period and whatever it sells in the first part of next year its more than likely still going to be outsold 2 to 1 by the PS4. So in terms of how its selling against its main competition its doing badly. But purely based on numbers it could end up selling well.

The problem lies in whether the gap from PS4 to Xbox one in terms of ratio increases any more than the 2 to 1 we have now.

The Xbox wont end up on numbers like other console failures, but cant see it getting anywhere near 360 sales this time around. My guess is something like 35-40 million when all is said and done.

PREDICTIONS FOR END OF 2015: (Made Jan 1st 2015)

PS4 - 34M - XB1 - 21m - WII U -12M

the XB1 is only doing decently in USA and UK to some extent. in the rest of the world its doing pretty bad.
