For PD and Evolution it would make sense as they are both investing tons of money and resources trying to make the most realistic looking cars. You can't add much personality when you are trying to make a 1:1 imitation of a car.

I think they might give them another chance. AAA development are costly. But I still think Evolution deserves a chance. In past they made motorstorm which was pretty impressive given how difficult it was to code for PS3.

 

PS: Sony hant announced anything about them. There is no rumor. This is just a hypothetical scenerio.

This doesn't mean a fuck over the fate of a studio, the only thing that matters is profitability, are you seriously thinking Sony will close a whole studio and put tens of people out of their jobs over friggin reviews? LOL.

Let then keep doing updates upgrades to the game see what comes of it.

Owners seem generally happy, its mostly fanboy's and whiny bloggers that are crying about it the most. Server issues should be compensated with some free massive upgrade, or free seasons pass type deal.

Overall they are a small developer with a small budget, the can hardly be called aaa makers but their games are seen as just that.

Wonder if he felt the same way about the entire Games and Devices division of Microsoft after RRoD, since they knew about it before launch.

in this case i'd say let them make smaller games and reduce the studios size.

WRC is in the hands of Milestone now. And while WRC 3 (2012) was a decent game, Driveclub is far far better. I didn't bother with WRC 4 this year. Critics didn't either, only 11 reviews on metacritic.

Evolution could make a great rally game with the game engine they have now. They have the knack for making great tracks, After 40 hours of DC I still haven't got bored of any single one track. I would love for them to take over Wipeout.
