Yup. Super expensive, but looks super nice.
Also, their new HTC-developed tablet looks fantastic too.

Interesting. New Nexus tablet? Did they announce it at the same time?

Yep. Looks ultra sexy.

Epic. A lot more expensive than previous Nexus tablets though, I believe.

I wonder what big new things are in the Lollipop Android update

$649?????? WHAT? Thats super expensive for a nexus phone! Wtf? Granted those are some nice specs but generally, nexus phones are in the 300 to 350 dollar range

This one has a huge screen and an epic resolution. Weren't they like 4-4.5" before?

Yea but still... Nexus phones generally had epic resolution at the time of release anyway and they still costed quite cheap.. and their nexus 5 was a 5 inch

How much did Nexus 5 cost when it launched? $399 or so?

This might be a big jump in power too, combined with the bigger screen

It costed $349-$399 but again... At the time of release... They were also quite powerful and the jumps were also huge

Excatly.

Google is leaving the mid and low price range for motorolla and chinese manufacturers.

Nexus 9 tablet is quiet expensive too. Is Google focusing on selling premium products for premium prices now?

Nexus 7 isn't getting a refresh? That's disappointing.

The main attraction of the Nexus 5 (which is the phone I have now) was the low price to high specs it had.  This pretty much threw that out the window.

Google will continue to sell Nexus 4 and 5. Nexus 4 being their cheapest offering.

This is actually good. They covered the widest range of prices possible. I hope they keep all their current devices at all times with yearly refreshments.

Edit:

I was wrong. Nexus 4 was discontiuned long ago.

Holy crap that's expensive.

And there's no mSD slot either, dafuq.

Well, thats an odd tactic cause usually, the nexus phones target the people that pay up front and not the people that want to go into contracts! Samsung is like the leader in phones when it comes to expensive phones. Granted the Nexus 6 is cheaper than a note 4 when it comes to up front pricing but the note 4 targets the contract people and not really the up front people so with the $649 price tag, that is going to be hard to attract the same people that usually get a nexus phone imo. So it will be interesting to see where this goes loll

Well it looks like I wont be getting the Nexus 6 :(

So small and so cheap. What's the catch?
