Resident Evil may be moving back to the small screen with talk of a new TV series based on the horror gaming franchise.

According to a Variety report, German production company Constantin Films is looking to take over the series after the final Resident Evil movie is released.

The movies are loosely based on Capcom’s video game franchise, and have been very successful, grossing almost $1 billion in total since the release of the first film in 2002.

True. I'm gald they're tapping into it though. I always wondered why there were no TV shows about Zombies. The Walking Dead has opened the eyes of those producers and even movies are returning to it.
