The way I look at it, the Xbox One is selling 2-3 times as fast as the Wii U. If the Wii U has some good 350k weeks, the Xbox One will sell 700k in the same period. The Xbox One will have closed 500k gap in September, another 500k in October, and quite likely over a million in November and December. Xbox One will surpass Wii U in November and earn 1000000 million more sales by the end of the year. Thats my prediction! Do you think Xbox One will beat Wii U this year?

No, it'll close the gap a bit in the next three months but I see the X1 falling back hard starting in January. There's little to nothing releasing on it till whenever Fable or QB come out sometime next year. To be fair there's little for the Wii U so I think they'll do equally bad just like most of this year, which means the Wii U will hold onto the #2 spot for quite a while longer.
