Where the hell is PS4 2.0 update? I mean unless they are taking a piss do they not realize that more people spent more to get and own a PS4 than there are that owns a PSV?

I would assume 2.0 is being worked on. I'd guess that the two OS's are being done by different but adjacent teams. Probably wrong, but that'd be my guess.
Also would assume that a lot of testing goes into it, so it's not just the matter of shifting over a few people to help out.

I would prefer that sony gives priority to the userbase that is giving them more money. And I don't know, but I think its the PS4 user base.
And that 2.0 will release when it will mentality doesn't help us one bit. I never expected sony to match MS in terms of software updates (after all MS are a software company) but come on, almost a year since release and we haven't got a single meaningful feature update. I am a sony fan, but that doesn't mean you can't let them know when they are fucking up.

They probably are.
The PS4 will get much more substantial features than the Vita will, so a lot more work has to go into it.

Yh I know... I am just a little disappointed cause I feel if there is one area sony dropped the ball with the PS4 is with their OS. With the 64bit architecture and the amount of RAM available, sony should have simply made an SDK available for the PS4 (like android or IOS) and open the system up to software developers. That way developers can develop applications for the PS4 as they see fit. We could even have our own version of teh chrome browser or rather than wait for sony to release a media app any willing and capable developer could have just made a media app for the PS4.
Everything on the PS4 already runs like a standalone app as it stands with exception to system wide features. So if they wanna take full responsibility of loading their OS with apps, least they could do is get them out in a timely fashion. Android and IOS have been doing it for years, there really is no reason imaginable why in this day and age a phone with 512mb of RAM is more functional than a console with 8GB or ram and processing power that is over 80 times more powerful than any mobile processor.
