Which of these two Vita games should I play?

Persona 4: Golden 37 67.27%

Virtue's Last Reward 8 14.55%

Neither, play something else! 9 16.36%

Total:54

Persona 4 golden would be my choice although Virtue's Last reward is an epic game

Both? I have both those but only played Persona 4, waiting to complete that before starting on virtues last reward,

persona

couldn't really get into VLR

Hard question ! Two masterpieces for me, and my favorite games (with Danganronpa)... But they're different.

Persona 4 Golden is boring the first few hours. I played 3 hours one day, didn't touch it again in 6 months... But when I decided to play again, I played 60 hours in 5-6 days, it was impossible to turn off the Vita ! So it's a JRPG with 60 hours needed for a first run, a really good story and great characters. You should play it.

Virtue's Last Reward is a little more complicated. It's a visual novel mixed with escape games (you need to resolve puzzles to get out of a room), so a lot of text and not a lot of gameplay. It's also the sequel of the DS game "999" (you can play VLR even if you don't have 999, I did it). Great story (huge ending), and great characters too, and maybe 30 hours for the run. You should play it ;)

Which one should you play first ? I'm pretty sure you will enjoy Person 4 after the first few hours, so if you have enough time to put 60 hours in a game, I think you should play it first.
If you can, pick up a DS and play 999 before playing Virtue's Last Reward, it will be better. Anyway, I hope you will enjoy this game too (it's awesome), but visual novels are more "specials" than JRPG and not everyone like them...

P4G, easily.

Yeah, think I'm going to play Persona 4: Golden first actually, got to try and get past the beginning again lol, I remember it being quite... not sure boring is the word I'm thinking of, but I'm going to go with it; boring.

Unfortunately I can't play 999 (I've got a DS and 3DS anyways), due to it never actually releasing here in EU and the consoles being region locked...

Wait, what ??

I'm french and I played 999 on my french 3DS without any problem. I think that the US version at least is compatible... You should be able to play it. The gameplay, the alternative endings (and graphics of course) are not as good as VLR, but the real ending is just awesome and should be done by everyone with a DS. So try to do it before VLR, it will be even better ;)

Persona 4 golden. You absolutely must play the game. How did you manage to put it away in the first place. When i got the game i just couldnt stop playing.

Persona 4 Golden

Oh man I want to play P4G, but I'm waiting until I can get it for probably under 15 dollars.

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

Hmm strange, I'd heard from someone here in the UK (Actually from this website too, lol) that he imported a US copy of the game, and it didn't work on his DS OR 3DS... not sure why then, lol.

I can get it for under £20 brand new from eBay though, so even if it doesn't work for me, it's not like I'm losing much... although I won't be able to buy it for ATLEAST another two weeks, since I'm saving up for my tattoo too (Well, my second session, getting Auron added on the 9th of October!), but in that time I can be playing Persona 4: Golden anyways, yay, lol. Does the game (999) work on 3DS too? Since I lost my DS charger a while back and it's completely flat, whereas my 3DS is right beside me in its cradle on charge, lol.

I have a 3DS XL and it worked perfectly with an US imported game.

For mysticwolf, look at the PSN sales on Vita, this game is frequently on sale. I don't know about the 15 dollars, but it should be close.
