Agree with most of it. A little harsh on the voice sounds, though. They're always fairly obnoxious no matter what Mario Kart game you choose.

I will buy this game someday, and 3d mario world also. when I finish Zelda NES on the Virtual consoles, Scribblenauts and that crappy new super mario U and luigi U, not that great, but, oh well, it is still Mario...

Not sure if you know but you can use the mic with friends when you set up private races, just not in general online races. It really should have been an option, tied to parental controls if need be.

Mario Kart 8 is AWESOME! But why doesn't Nintendo do something for the mass to know it better?!

Nah, I actually thought item balance was a HUGE improvement over Mario Kart Wii... I actually put MKWii down after a month and never played it again after feeling like slamming my controls down from all the rages I had with going from 1st to 12th place. MKWii deserved a -3.5 out of 10 for item balance.

You see people get first more consistantly in MK8, not A LOT, but significantly more. MK8 gets a 5.0 out of 10 in item balance

Funny thing is I initially started my Review by trashing MKWii by making fun of it's item balance but then I took it off because it wasn't relevent to MK8...

Only thing is only one of my friends have a Wii U. Pretty Much all my friends are still suck on the 7th generation. And Only 3 of the have a PS4.

Funny.  I used to almost always win at MK Wii and I think that this game is much more random.
