Fixed for accuracy 
The vocal "not enjoyed" opinion are from guys that didn't played it.
Well the campaign is garbage, most seem to agree on that. The shooting and your ability to maneuver around feels great. We just need that in a better a game with more to do.
I want to achieve Rank 2 in Vanguard and Crucible so I can buy legendary armor, but I'm so fucking bored of grinding the same tasks. I'm dependent on bounties so I can play as little as possible.
This is why Destiny scores are kinda low, too much grinding of boring shit.

"You haven´t played it enough to see it´s greatness" serves nothing more than handwaving the issues..... again.
Look at the actual points people are making and you´ll see that....surprise: Most people who don´t enjoy it share the same complaints.

Potential hours of gameplay is high because it takes a lot of hours to achieve some goals.
Unfortunately, you'll be grind that same tedious tasks over and over to achieve higher ranks and hopefully get some decent loot. This is what's turning people off.

That is not true.
Take the case of reviews... each reviews complain about something different that others reviews... there is no consensus.

It is not as bad as some of the hyperbole you see online, and I am enjoying it at times, but it i definitely flawed as well, the encounter design is all the same and repetitive, needs more variety. Really sad on how small and empty the planets and world are, there is nothing to do on the planets except fight waves of enemies and bullet sponge bosses take no different tactics to beat.
Really surprised this is what bungie came up with. After saying that I am finding it fun, just so much watsed potential.
Some of this could be forgiven if it had a good loot system. it doesn't...and the grind after 20 is riciculous and takes a long time for little reward. There is nothing new to do at lvl 20 just repeat the same repetitve story and strike missions with the same bullet sponge bosses.

Bullshit. I've seen numerous reviews and listen to a few different gaming podcast, they touch on many of the same things.
The thing is Destiny basically fucks up on almost every turn. Bad campaign, tedious side missions, poorly told story, little variety, etc. While basically all the critics I've heard praise the gunplay mechanics.
The general consensus is Destiny tries to be everything and excels at little.
