I'm willing to bet that at least half of these 30 pages of posts are saying that the characters are poor, or how cars or urban settings are too modern for a fantasy (driveable mechs and machine gun replacing arms are allowed though).

Your bet is right.

Actually is a back and fourth between both extremes it seem. It was quiet funny you should check it out, I think I might want to troll both sides from now on.

Yep, that's how it works really. With extremes only.

What a disgusting fanbase the series has. Such a shame.

I don't get the hate either. The game looks good, I'm just disappointed Nomura stepped down, I don't care what anyone says.

Look at the bright side, we see reduction in zippers from the game by up to 90%

And I think you're blowing out of proportion the concequences of his departure. Jumping to the conclusion that it will affect the end result in any negative way, without having anything to back up that assumption... Seems to me that you're being overly negative for no reason. Unless there are definite proofs that any aspects of the game was negatively affected by his departure, which so far there are not, I don't understand why you are this negative about it.

I think you're in denial, or just plain refuse to accept facts. One of those two is true.

Spot on on that bet.

Its so hard for some users here to wrap their heads around tech as "advanced" as cars driving on roads and through a cuntry side. Harder still fr them to wrap their heads around the normal fauna of the game world being giant turtles and strange beasts with long necks. Apparently there is some sort of "era" clash.

There is also this thing about the gameplay being whack, some say its too slow and some say its too fast and that its all because Nomura has abandoned the project. Then there is also something about there not being enough onscreen furniture (UI prompts and options). And lets not forget, the character design is aparently wack too and too boy bandish.

Oh the best part, all this stuff is all constructive criticism.

More details from my analysis that MAY or MAY NOT be what we're seeing in the trailer

In the video, this appears to be the 1st time Noctis and the squad have set foot outside of the kingdom. The guy who appears to be doing all the driving is probably the only one who set foot on the outside. At the beginning, they appear to be very shocked at how huge the Adamantoise(giant turtle looking thing) is since they most likely have never ventured outside of their kingdom to see creatures like this. At around 0:47, they look out at the creatures and field due to how vast everything is and how unusual everything is being that they've never left their city. The driver is also the individual who told them that the comet thing was an astral shard.

They also might be looking for a specific female.. or mmaybe just one of them is. A chick named Luna who they eventually find out is in the city of Altissia.

Just all speculation on my part. I could be horribly wrong..

Health of characters seems to be pretty high in the trailer.

Its like a modern world that is suddenly overwhelmed/attacked by unleashed magic or so  :)

I'm not looking too much into that because by the time the game releases their health will be at around 550 or so. I believe square just does that from time to time. I remember back in the ps1 days when the Final Fantasy 8 demo was circulating in different demo discs; that even had exaggerated things in the demo. For instance, the demo was showcasing the part where you go to dollet and run into that big spider machine thing. They gave you like 3 summons(including Leviathan ) that you were unable to even acquire at that point in the game when the final product released.

If you go to the part where Noctis gets hurt by the mammoth looking creature, you can clearly see that he(Noctis) and the blonde kid hardly know how to fight. This part of the game has to be VERY early in the game and is obviously WAY before Noctis becomes a bad ass.

The guy with the long hair seems to be the only guy who really knows how to fight at that point.

What facts?

The "examples" you gave are trailers that were made while Nomura was still at the helm. The same applies to the last trailer shown. All footages of the game so far, including the last one from this year's TGS, have been from when Nomura was at the helm. So what the heck are you on about?

I still can't see it.

You can't even see it even when its shown to you. bravo. I've given you enough of my patience, anything more beyond this point is a waste of my time.
