I'm just not looking forward to spending $90+ extra just to get the "complete experience", even after paying $60 for an incomplete story. Still love the game, but DLC should be optional extras, not essentials.

I agree. The scores are about 0.5-1 point lower than should be, mostly because of the $500 million backlash... 

I mean, if a broken mess of BF4 managed to score 85 at launch, no way this game deserves only 74...

It being behind some games really bugs me, but well, my personal opinion to the games value don't need to be the same as the critics or other people.
Destiny is a good game to me, and that's what matters xD

But that really opened the GOTY question, who will it be now that Destiny probably failed in this task?

As I said in the other thread, my vote goes to Far Cry 4 (based on some previews).

I don't see any game released so far able to win it, and FC4 seems like a great continuation of critically praised FC3. AC: Unity might be considered, but I got tired of the franchise and hope reviewers feel the same.

Having sold stuff for 500 million dollars doesn't mean making 500 million dollars, sony and microsoft get a cut from that, and they have to pay taxes on the rest.
if it is true they spent 500 million dollars they need to sell more than 8 million units to break even

At first i would give this game a 7.5-8 but now after 5 days I can easily give it a 9! IDK why the low scores but this game is not boring at all unlike all recent COD's and TF, people need to play the damn game with their friends! and to OP no they will not give a complete sth edition, not at least 1 year from now.

And it will be, it will have a 10+ million player base by xmas, People that have actually played it, so again why will reviews matter?
