2014: 10m/11m LTD
2015: 14/15m LTD
2016: 16/17m LTD
2017: 19m LTD and discontinuation.

Nintendo should pump out whatever first party software theyw ant, to keep their Nintendo fanbase happy, and just try and profit on anything and everything they can.

Way too low... Ignoring all the Wii U games in 2015...

2015: 17-19m

2016: 22-25m

2017: 25-28m

2018: 27-31m new console

2019: 28-32m discontinuation

What WiiU games? Zelda U? It's never been on par with Mario Kart and Smash in terms of pushing hardware and selling as much. Other than that, nothing they have is a hardware pusher.

WiiU will not have those legs, it barely manages 3m a year in its infancy/peak, let alone 3 years down the line.

And until it actually starts selling more than Gamecube, the bearer of proof is on you to logically give reasons as to why it'll sell the way you've suggest it will.

Well, while the fact that it sold very well in USA and quite well WW in August is definitely a good sign for XBOne, I wouldn't automatically apply the opposite to Wii U, selling bad in that same period surely can make predict better sales overall for its competitor that did a lot better, but it isn't necessarily a bad omen of unavoidable d0m3. The last week of August, with Madden, showed us that big SW launches start having very good effects on XBOne HW sales even at the end of a slow period, but we still have to see if the next big releases on Wii U will finally wake it up or if it will remain sluggish.
This said, surely Wii U needs not only more commitment from Ninty, but that Ninty show and boast that commitment with good marketing.

US has best taste in consoles. PS4> Bone > WiiU .
We are getting gaming right this time.

I know we have tons of Nintendo fans here, but Nihty should be third all fall and early winter.

Define good taste... looking at the most sold games of ps4 and x1, i am getting a hard time trying to understand that

oh sorry you mean consoles, yeah its nice to have a console on your living room it really helps the decoration, I found it marvelous

Yes it does, for example I played local co-op of Diablo 3 with my step-brothers last night. It was really social and fun. You cannot do that on PC. This thread and site is mostly about consoles not PC so your post is completely out of place.

But I didn't have mentioned PC, i don't know where you saw that

Right. In other news.....................lol

The Wii U is definitely overtracked, though, for right now it is still 2nd. The sad thing is I think Nintendo could have made 2nd a decent battle if they had done a few things right this year. Unfortunately for them, they pretty much pissed that opportunity away.

They should have dropped the price by $50 when MK8 dropped. Should have advertised the crap out of it, while having a $199 bundle for Black Friday. Sure they would have lost some money doing this, but now they are just looking at declining sales while still losing money.

That would be a fair comparison if they had launched at the same time. The X1 has been on the market 3 quarters, the Wii U 7. Nintendo's most recent successful consoles--the DS and the Wii--sold the most units almost 2 years into their product lives. Microsoft's most successful console, the 360, peaked out in its third quarter.

Both of these consoles are where their predecessors were selling like crazy and they are badly falling behind. That's what I mean by terrible sales.

I'm not sure where you are getting any of these numbers.  The 360 peaked in late 2010/2011.  That was around five years in, not in its third quarter.  The DS also definitely didn't peak 2 years in.  Maybe you are talking about shipments for the 360.  Apr-Jun 2006 was the highest ever (in an Apr-Jun quarter) for the 360, but July-Sept 2006 was subsequently the lowest ever, so that was just a result of how shipments were being allocated.  The 360 didn't peak in sales during the Apr-Jun 2006 time period.

Also if we go further into the shipments.

3 Quarters
360: 5m
XO: 5.1 + Apr-Jun 2014 (1.1m between the XO and 360)

7 Quarters
Wii: 29.62m
Wii U: 6.68m

Even if the XO shipped zero in that most recent quarter, it would have only fallen 1.8m behind.  In the seventh quarter the Wii U fell 4.66m behind despite shipping 510k.  It would take 10 more quarters of the Xbox One shipping zero units for it to fall as far behind the 360 as the Wii U has fallen behind the Wii in 7 quarters.

I see the fact that XB1 > WiiU has annoyed a few people, but why? This was expected and enevitable :S

The only annoyd was you with the fact that wii u > for so long. you made it clear with your ongoing butthurt and stupidity over tha past months.now xone will be above wii u for the next two, maybe three chartz and then wii u will be above + your butthurt will start over.

XB1 will do way better than Wii U next year.
