New Consoles from both Microsoft and Nintendo in 2015?

Yes 23 5.88%

Article Forbes "The PS4 and Xbox One are Already Out of Date http://www.forbes.com/sites/johnarcher/2014/09/12/the-ps4-and-xbox-one-are-already-out-of-date/ " and that's one of the reasons why I think Microsoft would have few qualms about bringing out a new console by late 2015 if Xbox One is still being crushed by its third holiday season in a PS2 to Original Xbox way by PS4 if Microsoft intends for their Xbox brand to stay relevant in gaming.

Of course the Wii U is even more obsolete than X1.

You can't be serious. Of course not.

Can we just enjoy the new lot please?

As Sony's Playstation 4 continues to surge as the Market Leader of the 8th Console Generation of Video Games, do you think it's possible that we could be seeing new consoles from two of the Big Three in 2015 as an attempt to forestall Sony's momentum?

I really don't think that Microsoft wants to lose the ground that they gained in the console market place with the Xbox 360 to Sony's Playstation 4.  Thus far, the Xbox One has seemed like an ill thought out console by Microsoft that really looks like it's destined to fair no better against PS4 than the Original Xbox did against Sony's Playstation 2.

Likewise, Nintendo's Wii U has been much maligned and even some of Nintendo's Best franchises haven't faired as well on Nintendo's Wii U as they did in the previous gen.  And, I'm sure that Nintendo would probably like to recapture some of that glory that their Wii console enjoyed; however, it looks like at best Wii U is going to be at best another Gamecube rather than a Wii.

Really, the only way that I can see for both Microsoft and Nintendo to recapture some of the success that they enjoyed during the previous gen would be for them both to release new consoles.

So, do you think there's any chancethat we'll see a new console from Microsoft that takes much fuller advantage of the capabilities of DirectX 12 than the Xbox One can and a new more core focused console from Nintendo accompanied by a beautiful 9th Gen version of the next Zelda game during the 2015 Holiday Season?

Are you suggesting the Zelda game teased for the Wii U is actually a top secret launch title for the Thwii?

Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah...
XBOX TWO and Wii D will resaled in 2018, and PS5 in 2020 in my opinion.

Unless you count the new 3ds or a x1 slim then no.

Definitly not. For Ninty, I imagine 2017 - hand 2018 - home

or +1 year for both above.

I think it could definitely be a Twilight Princess situation.  The graphics in the trailer look too good for a Wii U game.
