I don't see why not. SJWs create a toxic environment for creative expression. |
Except they don't and there is no real proof that they do. if anything the video highlights that SJW's in games at least actually highlight and enhance creative expression since ya know they are all about trying to figure out what it's like to be others and caring about things other than themselves..

Well I disagree. The whole idea of cultural criticism reduces art to a tool for effecting societal change, which undermines the significance of art. Art exists for its own sake.

if anything, if art is used to create change then that strengthens the significance and importance of art. What actually undermines it is your perspective of using it purely for entertainment. Art is meant to provoke thought and internal examination of not only yourself and the world around you. That often leads to change. What you seem to be advocating is the end of that examination which would actually be detrimental to society.

No it doesn't. It increases your ability to relate to the character and makes the experience more enjoyable and thought provoking as well as increasing immersion. Unless of course you have an inability to feel or relate to others then I can see how pure and mindless violence and depravity could be more entertaining to someone because otherwise they would likely feel annoyed and frustrated.

Wasted too much of my time on that video. It's like the term SJW just appeared a few weeks ago and is now expected to be regarded as being an actual thing?!
People are always gonna just bitch and moan. Ignore them and do what you love doing... as long as it's constitutional

I think it's plain from your responses that you have a very narrow view of what should constitute societally acceptable art, which is why such moral crusades are always the enemy of free expression, and therefore of art itself.

No it's really not. You are simply seeing what you want to see because I disagree and you don't understand why you are wrong. I don't have a narrow view of what should be acceptable. That would be censorship and I don't believe in censorship of any kind period. What you advocate is really a type of censorship because you believe art is best when it has no power to influence people or society which makes both art and society weaker.
