As much as I'd like to bash you for that statement, I...actually agree with you.

This title screams JRPG, ergo it screams Vita.

The OG 3DS was already slightly more powerful than the GameCube, so I don't see how this won't be more powerful than the Wii.

They need it, especially if they're going to show off the 3D effect in this game.

Selfishly, one of my biggest hopes from this game is that it'll be a nice exercise in showing that home console -> handheld ports are not in fact the devil and despite being downgraded can be a very enjoyable experience for certain people.

I'd imagine the thought for people of Xenoblade everywhere with them is the same kind of glee that got me excited about being able to take Ratchet & Clank 2-3 with me everywhere.  

(Not aiming this at you in any way, by the way, your excitement for it was just the trigger I needed to be able to make the post)

The game visually doesn't look much different. But man, is the 3DS version slower!

The video of the 3DS version is very blurry. Just wait for a proper video.

If the grass looks ugly, I and most sane gamers can live with that, I just need the frame rates and the models to be cleaned up. The Wii version of Xenoblade had some bad textures and models but the landscape and game play made up for those short comings.

You can't highlight a port of that game as a new system mover and have it come looking uglier and the gameplay take a noticeable dip.

The 3DS had far more JRPGs than the Vita. 

Vita is more powerful. Would look and play pretty good on Vita.

Edit: Oh and I think the Vita has more JRPGs than 3DS now.
