*Beep* yeah. This was one of the best parts of the Wii Fatal Frame games, the way it made something as simple as picking up an item scary. |
I was waiting for you to show up.

Fatal Frame is super scary, loved the first 3 games, really good and underated.

What can I say, I'm the resident junkie. :p
I also really like the sound of the mission-based campaign. I wonder if we'll be playing as multiple characters like in FF4, or whether the others will be NPCs.

If so, I think it's safe to say I'll be choosing the main girl.

Is that different than normal? I was honestly a little skeptical when I heard the phrase "mission based"

RE4 had something like a mission-based structure, with the game being split up into different chapters/subchapters. I'm thinking Fatal Frame V will be similar to that from how this is worded.

Previous Fatal Frame games were a linear series of chapters, this one sounds more open, in that you can choose your mission.
>The touch system for picking up items is back. As are ghost hands.
Good to hear that.
>Gameplay is on the TV, the map is on the gamepad.
Wait, what? I want to use U pad like camera Obscura in ghost battles. Like they showed on niconico stream.

I'm assuming it's used as the map when you're not using the camera.

With so few retail games coming to Wii U, especially third party ones, Nintendo knows that it needs any game like this to be brought to the west.
And I also seem to remember hearing last year that NoA had made it a new initiative to localize more games going forward......
