Well, it's exciting for a few reasons. This will be Nintendo's first big attempt into traditional fighting games. With the arcade release, they'll have a while to playtest and make changes off of player feedback. Only real downside is that the console version is AT LEAST 6-8 months away.

Hopefully both Nintendo and Namco Bandai dont half ass this.

Again, like with the Tomb Raider exclusivity I had no doubt it would be timed, much like I have no doubt Pokken will come to Wii U.

Except this is a 1st party game unlike those others. This would be like putting Smash Bros in arcades first.

Except Pokken Tournament will be like traditional arcade fighters. Smash Bros is more a party fighter. Makes sense it woukd follow trends in that genre.

Also, Smash has a history of premiering on consoles. Pokken Tournament doesnt.

Yes it will be on wii U by 2016 so it's FINE!!!! :D

You know... I didn't read your thread at all. Your sig is hypnotizing me.

"I've Underestimated the Horse Power from Mario Kart 8, I'll Never Doubt the WiiU's Engine Again"

I'm a very patient person myself, so I can wait until its eventual Wii U release!

Well shoot, and I done gone changed it.

I'll be changing it back in a few days anyways, I think I finally found a gif I can stick with

International release is now under consideration according to Katsuhiro Harada:

So we'll most likely see a Wii U release after all, since arcades aren't much of a thing here.
