Wow. You really seem to think that gamers are entitled to recieving boatloads of money thrown into optomizing their console of preference.

Hint: This is the real world. CD Projekt does not have infinite money vaults to make everyone happy. They are not that big of a dev. If you want them to optomize for the PS4, make sure that the PS4 version of the game significantly does better than the PC, so they focus on it instead, or dig into your own wallet and pay them to optomize for your console, if you have that kind of money lying around.

Devs don't have endless wallets. Please.

Yeah they dont have endless wallets but you seem to be forgetting that it will sell more copies at a higher price on consoles than it will on PC... just like most action adventure games do.

The only time it will sell more COPIES is when its £3 in a steam sale, but that still wont mean its generated more money.

I'm sick and tired of people who want resources gained from consoles to be poured into PC gaming when most PC gamers cant even play the game at the highest graphics settings.

That's a pretty baseless satement considering Witcher is a PC franchise -_-

Lol whats that supposed to mean? PC isnt even an entity and no-one cares about it (not saying they dont want to make money FROM it though)

CD projekt have no reason to back PC in the way Sony have a reason to back playstation or MS have a reason to back xbox. They are a multiplatform developer.

You do know that your post makes no sense.  CD Projekt supports the PC because they are PC developers.  They have people who are experienced with PC development.  Their tools, libraries resources are all built on the PC for PC development.  The Developer has developed a strong PC base for their games and its how they made their mony up to today.  The PC is their lead system because of all of the above and I am sure the reason we actually see a PS4 version is because of the X86 hardware.  Even for the rendering engine they are DirectX developers and not OpenGL.  So that means they will need to ramp up on Sony implementation and APIs while pretty much everything on the 360 is very familiar or the same.

Its great that the PS4 is beefier and easier to code for because ramping up to a new platform during one of your most ambitious projects probably is already a tall order.
