adblock does not block the fullscreen animated ads, if It did I wouldn't have made this thread to complain.

I had a video ad play today that was impossible to remove. It's seriously infuriating. My device isn't rooted, so I can't use adblock either (nor am I touching Dolphin ever again after the privacy fiasco).

C'mon ioi, cut back the ads a bit, or at least give us a legit mobile site

Also wtf is the point of getting ad block since that completely defeats the purpose of the advertising revenue? I don't mind looking at ads as long as they don't interfere with the site. I'm a marketing manager for god sakes, but this is just overkill.

There's a fine line where every website has to figure out that limit as to whats enough with ads. VG Chartz passed that line years ago and it just get's worst and worst, so you go from being someone that likes the site and wants to help make it profitable, to saying fuck it, the ads hinder my experience on the website so now I'm going to block everything with ad block.

No offense, but ads suck. They have invaded every facet of our life, and it annoys the living crap out of me. So when I have the opportunity to remove these ads, you can be darn sure I will take advantage of it.

Dude, like I said, I'm a marketing manager, I understand. But when the ads break the site, you are pissing people off not only with the site being unusable, but also hurt the product you are advertizing because the consumer is hurt by the experience. 

This is not about me hating ads. This is the consern for the average user of VGChartz. I will upload some of the screenshots I took to prove my point when I have the time. It's really bad. 

Ads is how you earn revenue, so blocking them hurts the site as well.

Why are you admitting this? You are the enemy of the people. You're like Richard E. Grant in that film where he grew a second head that took control of his body. You're slightly less bad than a politician, and that's only because we probably cannot live without what you are marketing.
