I only have X1, but I plan on getting a PS4 after a price cut and when it has numerous exclusives I want for around $20.

I pay for both for "free games."

I get my Gold memberships for around $40 online. I pay about $50 for PS+. $90 a year for a bunch of games isn't a bad deal.

Both, for exclusives and to be able to play with friends who only have one or the other. Also, I think it is partially just because it has been a tradition for me to buy all current systems since 64/PS1/DC era.
