yes, seems logical, but making all the different kooplings as skins seems like too much work.

Yeah, I definitely don't believe the skins part. I do wish all of the Koopalings were playable characters, though. I really like them (plus, the meltdowns would be glorious).

I guess I could see the Duck Hunt dog as an assist trophy: Ducks fly around and gunshots pepper the screen, hitting the players in the process, then the dog pops up and laughs. Would be pretty funny actually.

The Duck Hunt Dog never did anything. He'd have no moveset (unlike other "do nothing" characters that still at least had plausible moves, like WFT or Villager)
