Forums - Gaming Discussion - What's the best DLC content/scenario you've ever bought?

I recently wrote a review of the Dark Souls 2 Crown of the Sunken King DLC, which I feel is possibly one of the best expansion scenarios ever made. In another thread here I was also talking about TLoU and its additional content that I felt was sub-par. People are clamoring for Mario Kart DLC, and I was also talking about MGR:R Jetstream Sam scenario to a friend in real life. Everywhere I go lately, DLC seems to come up.

So I was wondering, what is the best DLC scenario/expansion/content that you've ever purchased?

hmmm, there have been some really good DLC's from Bioware and Bethesda...

I would have to say My favorite DLC is still lair of the shadow broker from mass effect 2, with the citadel dlc from mass effect 3 being a close second.

I loved every piece of dlc for fallout 3 as well, and skyrim dlc was also good, but slightly overpriced for what it was...

Left Behind DLCOTG.

Borderlands (both games)

Despite being both cash-grabs, I'd say Case Zero and Case West from Dead Rising 2 gave a lot of content for your buck, and they also expanded the game in a very interesting way.

Never. Bought. It. Industry rip off in 99% of cases.

My two favorites are:

Old World Blues for Fallout: New Vegas -- This could have been a viable $30 game by itself. It had a ton of content, a really interesting back-story, and the humor was really good, not to mention all the things it added to the game. Loved it.

General Knoxx's Armory for Borderlands -- An absolute ton of new content and the new enemy soldiers are probably my favorites to fight in the whole game. Besides that, raiding the armory over and over (and over) kept me playing a LOT longer than I would have otherwise.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

In my opinion, also, the best DLC is always the one that gets either a physical release, or doesn't need the original game to be played.

Personally, it's a tie between The Undead Nightmare ( RDR) and New Super Luigi U!
