Forums - Gaming - What's the best DLC content/scenario you've ever bought?

Im the opposite, i dont like the stand alone dlc.  I like it when the dlc is integrated and expands the main story of the game.  Stand alone dlc usually is a lot more isolated, generally ends up feeling like a small arcade game using the games assets.

Maybe, but Blood Dragon was better than Far Cry 3.  Taking bases, the most fun part of FC3, was vastly improved in Blood Dragon.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam by a mile.  I would have been happy paying full game price for it.

2nd would be Undead Nightmare.  It was prob my fav part of RDR overall.

Blood Dragon was phenomenal also.  I liked it more than actual FC3.  Best ending to a DLC ever.

I like the Resgoun DLC a lot too, but I def wish there was an option to still play the original release.  They shouldn't have forced everyone to play only the new version, but survival mode is AWESOME.

Mass Effect 2 Shadow Broker. Seems a lot of us enjoyed that one.

hmmm, there have been some really good DLC's from Bioware and Bethesda...

I would have to say My favorite DLC is still lair of the shadow broker from mass effect 2, with the citadel dlc from mass effect 3 being a close second.

I loved every piece of dlc for fallout 3 as well, and skyrim dlc was also good, but slightly overpriced for what it was...

I came in here just to say that!

starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS

Rarely ever buy DLC, but Scott Pilgrim felt fair as game was $8 and Knives add on was $2. To me the game was easily worth $15 so $10 total was perfectly acceptable.

Forgotten Empires/The Forgotten for AoE 2/AoE 2 HD. The new civs and campaigns are really fun and it includes some must needed balance patches. Blood Dragon was also really fun, so far I did enjoy BD more than FarCry 3.

The only DLC I've ever bought has been a couple map packs for Pikmin 3, and even that was barely worth it. When I've got so many games to play and they all provide tons and tons of hours of entertainment for $20 or less (by the time I get them), ten bucks to tack on a couple extra hours to the campaign doesn't seem worth it at all. I'm a money/time/value kind of guy.

Plus, GOTY editions are never far behind!

you must be a big bethesda fan then...

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, if that counts. If not then Mass Effect 3: Citadel.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon and both Skyrim DLCs.
